Each
year our team at SingerLewak works over the
Summer to compile financial benchmarking for our Construction Industry
client
base, located primarily in Southern California. The database
incorporates data from several dozen contractors. We use that
information to create summary reports providing an overview of the
construction
financial climate in our region.
The
2011 financial information compiled for these reports includes balance
sheets, income statements and backlog data as well as calculating
and presenting several metrics from this information. We've enhanced our analysis on backlog information and have included recent historical data as well. The resulting
reports are of interest on many levels and for many
groups of people within our industry.
That being said, it is only for top level analysis and is intended to
foster discussion within management teams. It is not intended to
be used in the credit decision process or anything of that nature.
